Project Information

Design Engineering, Inc. (DEI) was contracted to provide construction contract administration and construction engineering inspection services for the reconstruction of Canal Blvd.

Our construction management team ensured that the project ran smoothly and efficiently. We scheduled and attended preconstruction meetings, maintained all construction field records, coordinated with the City of New Orleans Engineer/Representative for all relocations/adjustments of utility facilities and existing drainage structures, inspected the contractor’s work daily to ensure it met specified plans and specifications, prepared final estimate packages and plan changes/change orders, reviewed and processed contractor invoices, and worked on project closeout and submitted all required documents to LADOTD Baton Rouge, Construction Audit.
